Responsibilities:

• Preventive and Emergency Maintenance
• Maintenance activities curative requested by other departments, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities
• Make the correct changes of format cutting, filtering and screening machines for the preparation of fruits
• Carry out periodic lubrication defined in the Preventive Maintenance Plan
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and facilities after any intervention
• Monitoring of all activities from outside companies for requested services
• Fulfill the Work Order of each preventive or curative maintenance intervention
• Completion of records changes made to the preparation of fruit machines
• Report to the superiors any anomaly detected in equipment and facilities
• General housekeeping and cleaning maintenance workshop and working tools
• Record daily consumption of water, gas and energy
• Responsible for managing the waste generated in the activities associated with maintenance
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1-2 years general maintenance experience with mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of PLC’s and Energy Systems a plus
• Must know how to work with hand and power tools
• High School diploma or GED
• Knowledge of GMPs preferred
• Strong attention to detail, problem solver, in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.; be able to stand, bend, lift, twist, and turn, for extended periods of time in a humid environment
• Work effectively both independently and within a team environment
• Must be safety and quality conscious
• Must be available for overtime and weekends as needed
• Candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check upon hire

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 3pm-11:30pm
• 8-hour shift
• Rotating Weekends
