Role Description
We are seeking a Day Program Supervisor to support staff training, program quality, and daily community-based operations across multiple program groups.
This role will begin as a part-time, contract-to-hire opportunity, with the potential to transition into a full-time leadership position based on performance, program growth, and organizational need.
This is an onsite, mobile role requiring daily travel between community locations throughout Orange County. This position reports directly to the Program Director and works closely with leadership to ensure Title 17 compliance and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
Staff Supervision & Training
- Provide hands-on coaching, training, and performance feedback to direct support staff
- Support onboarding and field-based orientation for new employees
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and high professional standards
Community-Based Program Oversight
- Oversee daily operations across multiple community-based day program groups
- Visit program activities throughout Orange County to monitor quality, safety, and engagement
- Ensure staffing ratios and assignments (1:1–1:3) are implemented consistently
Person-Centered Services & Client Support
- Ensure services are delivered in a respectful, empowering, person-centered manner
- Support implementation of IPPs, BSPs, and individualized support strategies
- Assist staff in responding calmly and effectively to behavioral or safety concerns
Title 17 Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure program practices meet Title 17 and Regional Center service standards
- Monitor documentation, incident reporting, and safety procedures in the field
- Support corrective action and follow-up when program concerns arise
Qualifications
3 years experience in adult day services, ABA programs, or developmental disabilities field
Prior leadership or staff training experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of IPPs, behavior plans, and community-based supervision
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
First Aid / CPR
Bilingual (English/Vietnamese) preferred
Bachelor's degree
