NOTICE OF INTENT TO EMPLOY
DEPARTMENT: Athletic Department
LOCATION: High School
POSITION: Varsity Football Coach
REQUIREMENTS:
- Organized, professional, and committed to the policies and procedures established by the Athletic Department, and the MHSAA.
- Maintains a focus on player development, leadership, and character.
- Possesses a working knowledge of the skills and abilities required for this sport.
- Possesses the character qualities that are required for leading in school and community.
- Models and supports the mission of educational athletics.
- Handles interactions with student athletes and adults with professionalism and integrity.
- Is able to coordinate a 7th-12th grade team of coaches who are aligned with program goals and expectations.
- Is able to balance personal and professional duties with coaching duties.
- Certificate in CAP (Coaches Advancement Program) and current in CPR certification.
- Successful high school coaching experience.
- Experience in strength training and first aid.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE:
- Valid teaching certificate or earned hours in a degreed program in education or coaching.
