We are partnering with a fast-growing, private-equity backed infrastructure and energy technology company to hire a Vice President, Corporate to join their leadership team.
This role provides strategic and operational oversight across Human Resources, Information Technology, and Corporate Operations, leading multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring alignment with company-wide strategy. The position will work closely with executive leadership to support organizational growth, operational efficiency, and governance across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Department Oversight
- Lead HR, IT, and Corporate Operations functions, including direct management of department heads
- Set departmental goals, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with corporate strategy
- Develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and clear performance expectations
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across functions
- Ensure operational decisions align with enterprise governance and risk frameworks
Human Resources
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations
- Support leadership with culture, engagement, and retention initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations and best practices
Information Technology
- Lead IT strategy, systems, cybersecurity, and data governance
- Prioritize technology investments to support scalability, efficiency, and security
- Oversee IT operations and vendor relationships
Corporate Operations
- Manage office operations, facilities, compliance processes, and administrative functions
- Oversee company events and internal support services
- Ensure efficient day-to-day corporate operations
Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with senior leadership on company-wide initiatives
- Improve coordination and communication across departments
- Support decision-making through data, reporting, and operational insight
Budgeting & Resource Management
- Develop and manage departmental budgets
- Allocate resources to support business priorities
- Support legal and governance activities as required
Requirements
- 8 years of relevant experience, including leadership across multiple corporate functions
- Experience in private equity-backed, high-growth, or infrastructure / technology environments preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and operate at executive level
- Strong strategic, operational, and people leadership skills
Additional Details
- Hybrid role with regular in-office presence required. Can be based in Houston/ Austin, TX or Chicago, IL.
- Travel between company offices as needed
- Opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of a rapidly expanding organization
Salary : $160,000 - $220,000
