What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service / Data Entry / Shipping & Receiving Associate position at Fruit Growers Laboratory?
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our team in a fast-paced laboratory support environment. This position combines customer service, data entry, and shipping & receiving responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, able to multitask, and committed to providing excellent service while maintaining accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their laboratory samples and answer questions in a professional, courteous manner.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records.
- Receive and unload pallets and incoming shipments.
- Stock supplies and maintain an organized work area.
- Preserve and prepare sample bottles for customer use.
- Receive, prepare, clean, and package ice coolers for shipment.
- Ensure shipping and receiving tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Support other operational duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer and data entry proficiency.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move pallets, coolers, and other materials as required up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous customer service, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or laboratory support experience is preferred but not required.
