What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Clerk position at Frozen Food Express?
Frozen Food Express is looking for a Billing Clerk for our Lancaster, TX location.
Responsibilities:
- Create Orders for Dedicated Accounts
- Bill Invoices to various accounts
- Maintain daily billing report of billed orders and unbilled report
- Responsible for all inbound and outbound paperwork for Dedicated Accounts
- Scan all necessary documents
- Invoice customers on their web site.
- Assist with other filing and office needs as requested for the Billing Dept
- Regular attendance is required.
- Requirements:
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills
- Must have at least two years of clerical work experience
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
- Ability to solve problems where work is defined with established instructions and processes
- Ability to work under close detailed instruction
- Experience in the transportation industry a plus although not required
- Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
- Must be able to interact well with others
- Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
- Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
- AS400 experience is preferred, but not required.
