Qualifications:
- Experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Proficiency in basic cooking techniques
- Knowledge of local food handling and safety guidelines/standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and or holidays as required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and kitchen staff
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Demonstrate proficiency in using knives to prepare ingredients with precision and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, including regularly scheduled cleaning and occasional deep cleaning
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as cooking various dishes and managing different orders at once
- Prepare stations before service and restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift to ensure smooth operations
- Follow established recipes to prepare dish components accurately and consistently
- Maintain consistency in food preparation by following approved recipes, portion sizes, and kitchen procedures
- Assist in portioning and prepping ingredients for upcoming shifts to facilitate efficient workflow
- Monitor product freshness and follow proper rotation procedures to maintain quality and minimize waste
- Support kitchen operations by performing additional duties as required
