Responsibilities:
- Support Attorneys in preparing cases to go to trial
- Manage cases throughout the litigation lifecycle, from intake through resolution
- Collaborate directly with attorneys on case strategy, development, and preparation
- Coordinate records collection, discovery, and communication with experts and third parties
- Monitor deadlines and move multiple matters forward simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Exercise independent judgment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidently owning and managing cases to ensure attorneys are prepared for court
- Proactively communicate with clients in a professional manner
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Paralegal with litigation exposure
- Strong client relations skills
- Experience working directly with attorneys on active litigation matters
- Experience managing cases, deadlines, and multiple competing priorities
- Experience with QuickBooks 365 & Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review each disbursement with a fresh eye
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment
- The ability to work after hours, on an as-needed basis to prepare Attorneys for trial
Bonus Experience:
- Experience at a plaintiff law firm
- Litigation experience
- Experience managing cases from intake through resolution
- Experience with discovery, records collection, and litigation support
- Experience using Filevine
