Your Growth Path
General Laborers who show up, work hard and want to grow have a real path forward at Frost. Over time, you'll take on more responsibility and skill-building toward becoming a Mason/Bricklayer, Carpenter or Pointer, Caulker & Cleaner with pay increases along the way. This isn't a vague promise; it's how most of our skilled tradesmen got their start.
The Work You'll Be Doing
As a General Laborer, you'll support our skilled tradesmen on masonry, carpentry and restoration projects across Greater Cleveland. You'll set up and break down job sites, mix mortar, move and stage materials, operate basic hand and power tools and keep work areas clean and safe. Along the way, you'll learn the fundamentals of the trades directly from experienced craftsmen, working toward taking on more skilled tasks over time. You'll bring a strong work ethic, reliability and a team-first mindset to every job site.
What You Bring — Required
- No prior construction experience required — willingness to learn is what matters most
- Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolding
- Able to lift 75 pounds and stand, bend or kneel for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Valid Ohio Driver's License Reliable Vehicle
- Professional, friendly and detail-oriented
- Team mindset with a genuine desire to grow into a skilled trade
Nice to Have
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Some exposure to construction, masonry, or carpentry
- Own basic hand tools
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday. 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime during peak season.
