Caregiver/Personal Assistant

Job Title: Caregiver

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to assist individuals with their daily living needs in a respectful and supportive manner. This role involves helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life in a home or care facility setting. No prior experience is required, but a genuine desire to help others is essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Personal Care Assistance:
• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support mobility needs, including transfers, walking, and use of mobility aids.
• Meal Preparation and Nutrition:
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with feeding when necessary and ensure proper hydration.
• Medication Support:
• Provide reminders for medication intake as directed by the care plan.
• Household Tasks:
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishwashing, and tidying.
• Run errands and assist with shopping or transportation to appointments as needed.
• Companionship and Emotional Support:
• Engage in conversation and activities to provide companionship.
• Encourage participation in hobbies and social interaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• No prior experience necessary—on-the-job training provided.
• Previous caregiving or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift, move, or assist individuals with limited mobility.
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual.
