Home Health Aide - Full Time - Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)

The Home Health Aide - Licensed CNA will provide personal care and assistance to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and caring nature, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by the patient's healthcare provider
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices such as walkers and wheelchairs
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
• Report any changes in the patient's condition to the healthcare provider

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Texas
• Experience working as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
