Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist / Marketing Specialist

About the Role
As the Community Engagement Specialist, you will be the creative engine behind digital presence, community outreach, and localized brand initiatives. This Community Engagement Specialist role combines social media management, graphic design, content creation, and community marketing to increase guest counts, employee engagement, and brand visibility.
Responsibilities
Social Media
- Manage business social media accounts across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), X, and additional platforms as needed
- Build, maintain, and execute strategic content calendars
- Create, proof, and schedule posts with brand accuracy and attention to detail
- Monitor engagement, grow followers, and implement best practices for brand safety and compliance
- Bonus: experience running social media ad campaigns
Graphic Design & Content Creation
- Design flyers, posters, ads, presentations, social media graphics, and print materials (many bilingual)
- Create and edit short-form videos, reels, and motion graphics using Canva or similar tools
- Adapt corporate assets into localized, on-brand creative content
- Maintain strict adherence to corporate brand guidelines
- Capture the story behind events, employees, and community moments through visual content
Community Engagement
- Develop community partnerships and fulfill donation requests
- Schedule and support fundraiser nights, grand openings, parades, and community events
- Book and promote birthday parties and local engagement initiatives
- Create targeted, restaurant-specific marketing programs for sales growth, hiring, and digital traffic
- Attend select events (some evenings/weekends) to capture photos, video, and interviews
Employee Engagement
- Support weekly/monthly recognition programs
- Assist with planning and execution of company events, picnics, and celebrations
Additional Expectations
- Collaborate closely with regional counterparts
- Be available for occasional evenings/weekends for events and promotions
- Travel locally to restaurant locations as needed
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in social media management for a business, brand, or organization
- Strong experience using Canva or similar design platforms
- Working knowledge of video editing and motion graphics
- Demonstrated ability to follow strict brand guidelines
- Experience creating bilingual marketing content preferred
- Comfortable shooting content on a mobile device
- Highly organized with strong project management skills
- Available for local travel and occasional nights/weekends
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
