Print Production Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Print Production Manager to lead our printing operations and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality printed materials. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of print production, from prepress preparation to final quality control, driving efficiency and excellence across multiple printing processes. Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end print production workflows, including prepress, color management, and finishing processes.
• Supervise and coordinate printing activities across various equipment such as large format presses, CNC machines, and machining tools to optimize output quality and efficiency.
• Oversee printing operations, ensuring precise registration, color accuracy, and adherence to design specifications.
• Implement rigorous quality control procedures to monitor print consistency, color fidelity, and material integrity throughout production.
• Collaborate with graphic designer to review layouts, typography, and layout design for print campaigns.
• Maintain proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications to support prepress tasks and troubleshoot design files.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards; operate forklifts and other machinery safely within manufacturing environments.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for technical issues related to all printing equipment, or other machinery to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for materials procurement while managing inventory levels effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflow processes and implementing best practices in manufacturing and quality assurance.

Experience

• Proven experience in print production management within a manufacturing or commercial printing environment.
• Strong knowledge of digital printing techniques, prepress processes, color management principles, and layout design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for preparing print-ready files.
• Hands-on experience operating large format presses, CNC machines, machining tools, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with quality control standards specific to print advertising and packaging industries.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to printing machinery and digital workflows efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
