A well-established Primary Care Clinic in Oviedo, FL is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates pursuing a career in healthcare to gain valuable experience in patient interaction, medical office operations, and clinical workflows.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Oviedo, FL
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls and managing messages
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Organizing and handling faxes
- Scanning insurance cards and photo IDs
- Collecting and posting payments
- Entering basic documentation into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Coordinating with pharmacies and insurance companies
- Communicating with patients and families regarding clinical concerns
- Faxing and processing referrals
