What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Lathe / Mill Machinist / CMM Programmer position at Frontline Precision Inc.?
Frontline Precision Inc is a family-owned machine shop located in Oxford, MI that was established in January of 2020. Here at Frontline, we believe in cultivating an environment where employees feel challenged and empowered to grow in their abilities and due to this, we have great opportunities for advancement. We have seen continual growth thru out the last 3 years and at this point we are looking to add a couple more people to our team. We focus on precision machined parts for the military, aerospace, and firearms industry. Currently we are in search of a couple CNC lathe and mill machinist that have experience with Okuma, Doosan or Mori Seiki CNC machines. The ideal candidate would have at least 3-5 years' experience operating, programming, and setting up this type of machine. Experience with CAD/CAM a plus but not required.
We are also searching for someone to lead our quality department. CMM programming with experience on Hexagon machines is a plus but other experience will be considered. Must have a good understanding of GD&T and strong blueprint reading skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.0 – 60.0 per week
