Key Responsibilities
• Deliver surgical care with a high standard of excellence and integrity
• Collaborate effectively with providers and team members
• Conduct thorough medical history reviews to determine surgical candidacy
• Educate patients and clearly communicate treatment value
• Coordinate care with referring providers as needed
• Complete and sign detailed clinical notes daily
• Train and support surgical assistants when appropriate
• Manage patient expectations before and after procedures
• Maintain alignment with the practice’s lead-to-surgery process
• Utilize digital dentistry and pursue ongoing clinical development
Required Skills and Abilities
• Strong clinical and surgical skillset
• Excellent communication and patient interaction
• Ability to manage a high-volume schedule without compromising care
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving ability
• Ability to handle escalated situations professionally
Education and Experience
• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• CODA-accredited OMFS residency required
• Active Florida dental license and anesthesia permit
• Board-certified (ABOMS)
• DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications (current)
