What are the responsibilities and job description for the After-School Instructor - Flowood position at Frontiers (Rankin County School District)?
Frontiers is the after-school program of the Rankin County School District. We provide after school care for students within our elementary schools. Each school has set times for afternoon snack, homework, enrichments, games, and indoor and outdoor play! As an after-school Teacher, you will directly supervise 12-16 students through these activities each day.
Duties:
- Provide supervision and ensure the safety of students at all times
- Plan and lead age-appropriate games and art activities for students
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive environment
- Collaborate with other staff to create a fun and engaging experience
- Serve as a role model for students by demonstrating appropriate behavior and communication skills
We are looking to immediately hire for schools in the Florence, Pisgah, Brandon and Flowood zones!
