What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant to CEO (Founder’s Office / Operations) position at Frontiers Market?
Agriculture is one of the largest industries on earth, yet most ranch operations still run on notebooks, spreadsheets, and instinct.
Frontiers Market is building the data infrastructure for modern cattle operations — combining AI, computer vision, and marketplace technology to help ranchers measure, manage, and sell livestock with unprecedented visibility.
Our mission is simple, but massive: Bring real technology to the backbone of America’s food supply.
We are a venture-backed ag-tech startup with strong traction and a rapidly growing customer base. The opportunity ahead is enormous and the road will require grit, ownership, and people who want to build.
We are also building in a moment where AI is fundamentally changing how work gets done. We are not looking for someone who simply keeps up — we are looking for someone who uses AI to move faster, build smarter systems, and create leverage across the business.
If you are someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, anticipates problems before they appear, and takes pride in running things with precision and ownership, please we want to meet you!
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role. We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Operations Partner to work directly with our Founder & CEO. You will act as a force multiplier for the founder, helping drive projects forward, manage operational complexity, and ensure critical initiatives execute flawlessly.
This role is for someone who wants ownership, exposure, and the opportunity of a lifetime — not just a job.
Your mission is simple: Make the founder dramatically more effective.
That may include:
- Owning complex scheduling and travel logistics across investors, customers, and field operations
- Coordinating cross-functional projects across engineering, product, operations, and ranch partners
- Acting as a project manager for key initiatives and company priorities
- Preparing materials, research, and briefings ahead of meetings
- Managing follow-ups and ensuring important work doesn’t fall through the cracks
- Helping coordinate field deployments and ranch installations
- Handling operational and administrative tasks with exceptional attention to detail
- Identifying problems before they become issues and proactively solving them
- Creating structure and systems where none exist
Some weeks you’ll be managing logistics. Other weeks you’ll be helping coordinate product launches or investor meetings. No two weeks will look the same.
This is a role for someone who doesn’t just complete tasks, you build systems that make tasks disappear.
You will:
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude CoWork, OpenClaw, Notion AI, automation tools, etc.) daily to increase speed and quality of execution
- Build and refine workflows that make the founder and team more efficient over time
- Create repeatable processes instead of solving the same problem twice
- Continuously improve how work gets done across scheduling, communication, project management, and operations
- Think in terms of leverage: How can this be done better, faster, or automated?
- Bring a builder mindset to everything you touch
We are especially excited about candidates who are already experimenting with AI-driven workflows, automations, and system design in their current role or personal projects.
In your first year:
- The founder’s time is significantly more focused and effective
- Critical initiatives move faster because you are driving follow-through
- Communication and coordination across the company becomes smoother
- Meetings run better and produce real outcomes
- Operational details are handled flawlessly without constant oversight
When things are working well, people will say: “If it goes through them (you), it gets done.”
You may be a great fit if you are:
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive to the point of anticipating needs before they are spoken
- Energized by building systems, not just managing tasks
- Naturally curious about AI and new tools — and already using them in your day-to-day work
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and figuring things out without a playbook
- Someone who sees inefficiency and immediately thinks, “there’s a better way to do this”
- Hungry for growth, responsibility, and the opportunity to operate at a high level early in your career
You don’t wait to be told what to do, you figure out what needs to be done and go do it.
Who This Role Is NOT ForThis role is not a fit if you:
- Prefer clearly defined tasks and step-by-step instructions before taking action
- Want a traditional administrative role focused only on calendars and tasks
- Prefer maintaining systems vs. building and improving them
- Are not actively using or interested in leveraging AI tools in your work
We are looking for builders, not task managers.
Basic Qualifications
• 1–5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment (startup experience strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information
- Massive market opportunity: AgTech is one of the least digitized industries in the world
- Work on cutting-edge AI/ML technology applied to the physical world
- Opportunity to learn and operate at a level far beyond your years
- Build real systems, not just manage existing ones
- Be part of a company improving the backbone of America’s food supply
This is not just a job. It is an opportunity to accelerate your career, build real operating skills, and be part of something that matters.
