Middle School Spanish Interpreter/ESL Tutor
Description
Support multi-lingual learner student(s) during classes with content area learning and English language acquisition
Provide Spanish interpretative services as needed to support multi-lingual learn student(s) academic growth
Collaborate with classroom teachers as needed on best academic supports for multi-lingual learner student(s)
Work with middle school-aged students (support can be provided by the district for those new to education)
~15 hr per week (flexible to meet class period and employee needs)
Hourly rate pay based on level of experience $20-53 per hour commensurate with experience and education
This position runs immediately through the end of January
Requirements
Bilingual in Spanish
High school degree or higher level of education
Ability to pass a CORI check
Additional Desired Skills
A background in ESL
Experience working in schools and/or with youth
