We are seeking an experienced and energetic Intermodal Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative to support our year-round operations. This role is responsible for managing daily driver activities, coordinating terminal operations, and ensuring efficient scheduling and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee drivers and manage daily terminal operations
- Schedule routes, pickups, and deliveries efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of terminal procedures and appointment scheduling
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Coordinate rates and pricing agreements with customers and vendors
- Manage steady route operations and dispatch functions
- Provide excellent customer service and operational support
- Perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in transportation or trucking operations management
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
