What we’re seeking:
You’ll lead a high-volume warehouse operation supporting statewide distribution. This role oversees 20–23 union employees and a 100,000 sq. ft. facility with $20M in inventory. You’re responsible for keeping operations running efficiently, safely, and accurately—while developing your team and driving performance. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to our Wallingford, CT location to complete your work responsibilities.

You’ll lead a high-volume warehouse operation supporting statewide distribution. This role oversees 20–23 union employees and a 100,000 sq. ft. facility with $20M in inventory. You’re responsible for keeping operations running efficiently, safely, and accurately—while developing your team and driving performance. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to our Wallingford, CT location to complete your work responsibilities.
What you’ll do:
- Lead daily warehouse operations (receiving, pick/pack/ship, distribution)
- Manage, coach, and develop 20–23 union employees
- Own hiring, training, and performance management
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and cost control
- Maintain 99.5% outbound shipment accuracy
- Ensure inventory accuracy through weekly spot checks and bi-annual full inventories
- Manage inventory planning, forecasting, and material flow
- Investigate discrepancies and resolve inventory or distribution issues
- Ensure all inbound/outbound and inventory control metrics are met or exceeded
- Maintain a clean, organized, tour-ready facility
- Monitor yard activity and warehouse flow
- Implement process improvements and standard operating procedures
- Enforce safe work practices and lead monthly safety meetings
- Partner with internal teams through meetings and ongoing communication
- Proactively address operational and customer service needs

- Salary Range: $81,000 to $147,000
