Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This role involves managing on-site operations, supervising teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules while actively participating in field work. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive leadership style, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management practices to drive project success.
Responsibilities
· Supervise and lead construction crews on new construction or home repair projects
· Consistently demonstrate an exceptional work ethic while setting the standard for jobsite productivity and fostering a strong culture of safety
· Perform skilled carpentry, remodeling, framing, demolition, drywall, trim, painting, and other construction tasks as required
· Plan and coordinate daily work activities to meet project schedule
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project plans
· Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, company standards, and project specifications
· Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety policies
· Conduct daily toolbox meetings and job site inspections
· Coordinate material deliveries, equipment maintenance, and inventories
· Monitor project progress and communicate updates to the Construction Manager and Construction Coordinator
· Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members
· Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or quality
· Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, and job documentation through the use of BuilderTrend or other similar programs
· Ensure job sites remain organized, clean, secure, and professional
· Interact professionally with homeowners, customers, clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and visitors
· Maintain customer confidentiality, follow all procedures for protecting client data including the secure storing and sharing of customer files and information
· Perform other related work as required
Qualifications
· 5 years of construction experience, supervisory experience preferred
· Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices
· Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
· Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
· Proficiency in operating hand and power tools
· Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
· OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
· First Aid/CPR certification preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management systems
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish is preferred
· Must work well in a team, as well as being able to work independently
· Must be eligible to be employed in the United States
· Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and socioeconomic circumstances
· Knowledge of, and an affinity for, Frontier’s mission, and for energy-efficient construction practices and methods.
In addition, the successful candidate must be willing to travel within Frontier’s service area daily.
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
