Electrical Assembler I:

This position is responsible for assembling printed circuit boards, cables, subassemblies, or panels per drawings and work guides/instructions using a variety of tools and equipment in accordance with FES, customer, qualify, and safety requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

Performs assembly tasks using hand and power tools in a detailed, consistent manner as required by production drawings, work instructions and/or oral directions
Reads, understands, and works from Engineering Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, and Work Instructions for building electronic assemblies.
Operates equipment, such as, X-Ray machine, computers, lead formers, board separator, terminal press, Scheulinger (wire stripper), aqueous cleaner, and soldering irons

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
Ability to learn to read drawings
Ability to learn to solder
Ability to perform basic mathematics
Must be a U.S. Person (United States citizen or have permanent resident status in the United States. No sponsorship).

Work Environment:

Normal electronics manufacturing environment
Expected hours 7:00am - 3:30pm

Essential Physical Functions:

Sitting for long periods of time
Occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds).
Ability to distinguish color
Ability to see details at close range.
