Electrical Assembler I:
This position is responsible for assembling printed circuit boards, cables, subassemblies, or panels per drawings and work guides/instructions using a variety of tools and equipment in accordance with FES, customer, qualify, and safety requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs assembly tasks using hand and power tools in a detailed, consistent manner as required by production drawings, work instructions and/or oral directions
- Reads, understands, and works from Engineering Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, and Work Instructions for building electronic assemblies.
- Operates equipment, such as, X-Ray machine, computers, lead formers, board separator, terminal press, Scheulinger (wire stripper), aqueous cleaner, and soldering irons
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Ability to learn to read drawings
- Ability to learn to solder
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Must be a U.S. Person (United States citizen or have permanent resident status in the United States. No sponsorship).
- Normal electronics manufacturing environment
- Expected hours 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Occasional lifting (up to 30 pounds).
- Ability to distinguish color
- Ability to see details at close range.
