**We are currently hiring for a part-time DSP to work weekends and evenings. Must also be able to transport clients in your personal vehicle, be at least 18 years of age with 3 years of driving experience.**
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with us, you'll be one of those special people. DSPs are the link to the community for those they serve. For some, they may be the eyes of those unable to see, or the voice for those who can't speak. For others, they are the subtle support on the path to one's true potential.
We are seeking DSPs/Caregivers to provide assistance to individuals in a community-based setting. DSPs provide assistance with daily activities such as chores, meal preparation and planning; medication assistance; and personal care. DSPs also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings within the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with the care team to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
NOTE: Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, extended hours and accept lack of scheduling control and be ready to report on late notice.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Valid Alaska Driver's License with 3 years driving experience, clean Alaska driving record and Auto Insurance as it will be required to conduct company business. CPR and First Aid certified (provided as necessary). Other training is provided.
