We're looking for a customer-focused Counter Sales Associate who enjoys helping contractors, builders, and homeowners find the right products for their projects. What You'll Do
As a Counter Sales Associate, you'll be the face of our branch, providing exceptional service while helping customers with product selection, order processing, and project support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcome and assist customers with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Help customers select the right lumber and building materials for their projects.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Answer customer questions and provide product recommendations.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and maintain accurate pricing.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and safe.
- Work closely with the yard, delivery, and purchasing teams to ensure excellent customer service.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operations.
What We're Looking For
- 1 years of customer service, retail sales, or counter sales experience.
- Experience in the lumber or building materials industry is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale experience.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay & Benefits
Starting at $20.00 per hour
