Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Steel Detailer/Estimator role located in Mansfield, TX. The Steel Detailer will be responsible for creating accurate shop drawings, developing detailed plans for steel structures, and interpreting architectural drawings. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with engineers, ensuring adherence to specifications, and addressing project requirements efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating Shop Drawings and detailed Steel Detailing documents and/or estimating.
- Experience working with Steel Structures and Rebar in construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret Architectural Drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to project accuracy and specifications
- Proficiency in Solidworks or Tekla structures software or related drafting tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative work ethic
- Prior experience in construction or manufacturing industries is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical qualifications are a plus
