This position will provide FBH Fleet Vehicle Maintenance and oversight for our organization. The Tech II will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company’s vehicle fleet. The Tech II will also be responsible for inventory replenishment at our various locations and ensure grounds are maintained for cleanliness and safety. Provide mail and key requisition support as needed. Ensure group and meeting rooms are arranged properly and have necessary equipment set up and working. There will be some minor maintenance work that will be required as directed by facilities management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure all vehicles are safe and good working conditions.

  • Establish a schedule to perform regular maintenance inspections.

  • Collecting vehicle mileage logs and electronically filing them monthly.

  • Schedule oil changes, tire rotations, new tires, brake work, and warranty maintenance.

  • Maintain inventory of vehicle first aid kits and safety emergency equipment.

  • Respond to vehicle breakdowns and accidents, address vehicle damage and ensure incident reports are filed.

  • Develop schedules to have vehicle interiors detailed.

  • Work with front desk to develop summer group van schedules.

  • Inspect Main FBH buildings and grounds in the morning and afternoon to ensure safe and clean facilities.

  • Perform deliveries and pick-up runs as needed.

  • Restock paper supplies at all buildings.

  • Pick up shredding at all FBH locations.

  • Review and assist with key request requisitions.

  • Restock CDC requires supplies at all locations.

  • Perform minor repairs, painting, and maintenance of equipment.

  • Set up group rooms and training rooms.

  • Restock break room supplies.

  • Complete assigned work requests.

  • Maintain and enhance customer service to ensure that both internal and external customers of FBH have positive experience with FBH.

  • Requires travel between various FBH work sites on a regular or daily basis, either via FBH owned Vehicles and/or personal vehicle.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL HAVE:

REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Two years of experience in minor general vehicle maintenance.

  • One-year general office work.

  • Two years of experience in minor general maintenance

  • Must have an unrestricted and valid driver’s license, be able to pass a motor vehicle screening and driving test, have active car insurance, and be willing to use their personal vehicle in the course of work.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Must have basic computer skills including ability to use Outlook and Microsoft Office.

  • Customer Service experience.

  • Must possess excellent communication skills including the ability to send and receive oral and written messages, in a clear, positive, prompt, and appropriate manner.

PHYSICAL, SENSORY & ENVIRONMENTAL:

  • Work is primarily performed in various indoor and outdoor locations.

  • Daily travel between locations is required.

  • The ability to drive a vehicle, traverse distances up to several city blocks and on various terrains, navigate stairs, get in and out of vehicles frequently is required.

  • Must be able to climb ladders, lift 50 pounds, kneel, stoop, twist, walk on uneven terrain, reach overhead and work in varied climates.

  • Blood-borne Pathogen Category III - No predictable exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

PAY RANGE (Hourly/ Non-Exempt): $22.85-$27.83


All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus, the starting base pay for this position is $22.85 per hour.

Benefits described above are based on employees who hold .5 FTE positions or greater and/or some benefits vary based on FTE. PRN positions are not benefit eligible or eligible for a sign on bonus.
