Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) – Outpatient Primary Care | San Diego, CA

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join a well-established outpatient healthcare setting in beautiful San Diego, California. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct patient evaluations and physical examinations
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing
• Coordinate specialty referrals and follow-up care
• Provide preventive medicine and wellness counseling
• Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in clinical meetings and quality initiatives
• Support resident and medical student education when applicable

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Clinic hours scheduled between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Typical shifts are 8.5, 9.5, or 10.5 hours in length
• Includes a 30-minute or 60-minute unpaid lunch break, depending on shift length
• Maximum of 80 hours per two-week pay period
• Annual workload not to exceed 1,912 hours
• No weekends
• No holidays
• No call responsibilities
• No callback requirements
• No overtime or overage hours

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted California medical license
• Current DEA registration (if applicable)
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet credentialing requirements
