What are the responsibilities and job description for the International Logistics Coordinator position at Frontera MKE LLC?
Plan, direct, and coordinate domestic and international purchasing,
warehousing, distribution, forecasting, customer service, and planning
services. Manage logistics personnel and transportation and logistics
systems and direct daily operations. Consult with customers on
transportation and logistical aspects of U.S. - Mexico import - export
activities. Create transportation and logistical solutions for U.S. customers
having operations integrated with Mexican maquiladoras. Provide
solutions to customers with C-TPAT carrier audits and compliance issues.
Gather and organize information on problems and procedures while
developing logistic solutions or alternative methods of proceeding,
developing, and implement logistic management programs, to assure
compliance with our programs and protect its interest. Conduct and
improve the customers' transportation and logistic organizational structure
and evaluate, design, and improve systems and procedures, conduct work
simplification and measurement studies. Prepare logistics and analyze
transportation and logistics procedures manuals to assist in transportation
and logistics contacts management in the U.S. and Mexico to operate more
efficiently and effectively. Responsible to advise and resolve customers'
supply chain management issues. Arrange to meet customers' needs for
ground, ocean, air freight, intra-Mexico, cross-border(U.S. - Mexico) and
U.S. operations. Responsible for DUCAT, C-TPAT and TSA compliance;
Responsible for dangerous goods handling issues
Pay: $134,118.00 per year
