Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the promotion of CMC services while integrating Frontage's broader capabilities within the differentiation framework.
- Manage the entire business development process, from lead generation through to contract completion.
- Attain sales objectives through a strategic approach focused on securing profitable opportunities.
- Secure and retain business through professional, consultative, and proactive sales activities directed at key decision makers
- Strong negotiating skills, knowledge of legal contracts and experience with RFIs/RFPs and competitive bidding processes
- Formulate and implement a competitive strategy driven by market analysis and intelligence.
- Proactively identify and develop project prospects, new clients to ensure a robust sales pipeline.
- Assess customer challenges and collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver customized solutions.
- Commit to frequent travel for client meetings, industry conferences, and seminars as required.
- Continuously analyze the competitive landscape and formulate tactics to strengthen market position.
- Work closely with technical and operational teams to uncover and pursue up-selling opportunities.
- Establish and maintain account management plans and actions to foster relationships with prospective and key clients.
- Develop and adhere to a structured client engagement cycle to expand the client portfolio and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and communicate cross-selling opportunities for other Frontage business units.
- Utilize the CRM tool to accurately document all stages of the sales cycle and provide reliable sales forecasts (Opportunities, CDA, MSA, Site Visits, Face to Face Meetings, Proposal requests, Proposal issued, Closed won or lost, etc.)
Requirements:
- BS degree or above, life science preferred.
- 3-8 years’ working experience of commercial sales or technical expertise in formulation development, analytical testing, or commercial manufacturing in a Pharmaceutical CDMO company.
- Self-starter with proven ability to develop a territory strategy for quota attainment.
- Solid understanding of the drug products and dosage forms such as OSD, Injectables, Semi solids, Ophthalmic Dosage forms
- Fair knowledge in Biologicals, Cell and Gene therapy market
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required.
- Very strong work ethic and comfortable with travels (50%)
- Knowledge and understanding of FDA, GXP, and ICH regulations and guidance
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite: MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
