Description
Looking for skilled and experienced Gel Coat Technician to apply gel coat using MVP spray gun to new or repaired fiberglass surfaces.
Repair chips, scratches, and other imperfections in the gel coat.
Color-match and mix gel coat materials to ensure a perfect match.
Requirements
* Must have attention to detail
* The ideal candidate will specialize in using fiberglass, gel coat, paint, and other related materials.
* strong commitment to craftsmanship and safety.
* Must be able to apply Gel Coat on fiberglass molds
* Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and masking.
- Apply primer, paint, and finish coats using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Achieve a high-quality finish with attention to color matching and blending
- Fabricate new fiberglass parts and components as required.
- Apply fiberglass layers and resin to form strong, seamless surfaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, particularly when handling hazardous materials.
- Properly dispose of or recycle materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Work closely with other team members, including other technicians and supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding project status, challenges, and needs.
- Provide input on process improvements and best practices in boat repair and refinishing.
