Front Royal Family Practice is hiring a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist for our busy family medical practice. The candidate should have a minimum of two years of medical billing and/or coding experience. Applicants must have excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Additional attributes in a candidate include:
- Proficiency with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Experience with Athena EHR.
- Familiarity with tracking claims, investigating unpaid claims, and resolving denials/rejections.
- Experience with generating and submitting electronic claims.
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively with providers, patients, and insurance representatives.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to established deadlines.
