Job Description
Front Row Motorsports (FRM) is looking for a qualified Director of Graphic Design to manage the visual brand identity for all assets related to the teams, drivers, and partners represented by FRM in the NASCAR Cup and Truck Series.
This person will be responsible for the following:
Car and Truck Design
The Director of Graphic Design will be responsible for working with the FRM account team and partners to design paint schemes for all NASCAR Cup and Truck Series entries, plus accompanying edits.
This person will work in conjunction with our in-house vinyl print and application team to ensure the correct presentation of the scheme on all cars and trucks.
Social Media & Content
Creation of social media graphics as needed. This person will work closely with the FRM content team to deliver sponsor creative, as well as graphic needs to help promote FRM and its team of drivers.
This person will play a key role in developing the brand identity of FRM’s digital footprint.
This person will work in conjunction with the FRM content team to help create the graphic calendar and ensure all deliverables.
Other
This person will design all FRM assets, working in conjunction with the FRM account team. Assets to include team pit equipment, haulers, driver and team fire suits, crew shirts, pit banners, additional at-track branding opportunities, etc.
This position will be responsible for overseeing any full- or part-time graphic designers hired in the future.
This person will work with the FRM New Business team to create sales decks and possible car and truck artwork.
Required Skills / Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and five years of related design and production experience.
· Experience in designing paint schemes is required. Accompanying knowledge of how to set up print files is preferred.
· Experience designing graphics for social media is preferred.
· Must be proficient in:
o Adobe Illustrator
o Adobe Photoshop
o 3D rendering in blender or comparable software
· Recommended experience in:
o Adobe Lightroom
o Adobe InDesign
o Adobe After Effects
· Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
· Must possess strong attention to detail, proofreading and copywriting skills.
