School Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Front Range Pediatric Therapies (FRPT) is looking for a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to help support a school partnership 15 hours per week.

As an FRPT school-based OT, you’ll provide occupational therapy services within the school environment, helping students access their education and reach their goals. You’ll provide therapy aligned with IEP minutes, participate in evaluations and IEP meetings, collaborate with teachers and other members of the student’s support team, and build meaningful relationships with students, families, and school staff.

Looking for a more full-time schedule? You can also supplement your school-based hours with pediatric home health services, creating a schedule that works for you while supporting children across both settings. Job Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT license in the State of Colorado (DORA)
• Active or ability to apply for Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services licensure
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance

Experience

• Experience serving the pediatric population: 1 year, preferred
• Experience within a school setting: >1 year, preferred
