Customer Success & Install Coordinator

Front Range CNC
Simla, CO Full Time
POSTED ON 7/23/2026 CLOSED ON 7/31/2026

What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Success & Install Coordinator position at Front Range CNC?

About Front Range CNC

Front Range CNC builds and supports industrial CNC routers for cabinet shops, manufacturers, and production businesses across the country. Our machines are large, high-value pieces of equipment that require careful coordination before, during, and after installation.

We are looking for a highly organized, customer-facing coordinator to own the non-technical customer experience from the time an order is placed through installation and throughout the life of the machine.

The Role

The Customer Success & Install Coordinator is the point person for every non-technical customer need after a machine is sold. You will keep customers informed, collect required paperwork, confirm site readiness, help schedule freight and installation, and make sure open items keep moving.

This role does not require deep CNC technical knowledge. Technical questions about machine operation, controls, software, calibration, fault codes, or mechanical issues will be routed to our service team. Your job is to catch the issue, get it to the right person, keep the correct people in the loop, and follow up until the customer receives a real answer.

In short: you own communication, coordination, and follow-through. You are not expected to personally answer every question — you are expected to make sure nothing gets lost.

What You’ll Do Through Installation

  • Coordinate freight details and confirm the customer can receive the machine
  • Verify forklift, rigging, dock, unloading, and delivery requirements
  • Manage the site-readiness checklist before shipment
  • Confirm customer readiness for power, air, space, floor, network, and access requirements
  • Keep customers updated during build, import, shipping, and install scheduling
  • Coordinate install and training dates with the internal service team
  • Setup documents, operator guides, and handoff materials

Ongoing Customer Success

  • Proactively check in with customers after installation
  • Maintain a regular customer contact cadence
  • Surface customer concerns before they become major problems
  • Route technical issues to the service team and follow them through to completion
  • Track open customer items so nothing goes unanswered
  • Keep the right people informed as customer needs, questions, or issues come up

Dealer and Channel Coordination

  • Coordinate fulfillment details for dealer-sold machines
  • Maintain a direct relationship with the end customer
  • Track order status and installation needs across multiple customers and dealer pipelines
  • Help make sure nothing falls between the cracks when multiple parties are involved

What Success Looks Like

  • Every order has the required purchase order, deposit, and paperwork completed at order entry
  • Every machine has site readiness confirmed before shipment
  • Install trips are not wasted because a customer’s shop was unprepared
  • Customers receive consistent communication throughout the lead time
  • Technical questions are routed quickly and followed through to completion
  • Customers are contacted on a regular cadence after install
  • Expansion and repeat-purchase opportunities are identified early
  • Open customer items keep moving, with the right people looped in at the right time

What This Role Is Not

  • This is not a CNC technician role
  • This is not a machine troubleshooting role
  • This is not a sales closer role
  • This is not a generic call-center customer service role

You will not be expected to diagnose CNC machines. You will be expected to communicate clearly, stay organized, follow up relentlessly, and make sure the right people are involved at the right time. Think of this role like as more of a facilitator whose primary job is to keep the ball rolling and on track.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable speaking with business owners, shop managers, and production teams
  • Ability to manage many open customer items at once
  • Calm under pressure when customers need updates or answers
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, email, and task/project tracking tools
  • Experience with manufacturing, equipment, logistics, construction, trades, freight, or industrial products is strongly preferred
  • Experience coordinating installations, deliveries, service schedules, or customer onboarding is a plus

Requirements

  • Full-time availability
  • Ability to work primarily on-site in Simla, CO
  • Strong computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and CRM/task tracking systems
  • Professional phone and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to understand and follow structured processes and checklists

  • Performance bonus opportunity based on customer success and operational metrics
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Health care benefit options available
  • Competitive small-business benefits package
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional flexibility needed around installations, freight, and customer timelines

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
