Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards.
- Oversee inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and manage food costs effectively.
- Implement and monitor food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Train, develop, and motivate team members through ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and skill-building initiatives.
- Manage shift schedules, coordinate staffing needs, and ensure timely service during peak hours in a quick service or casual dining setting.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, team management, and interviewing skills.
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures and food safety regulations; certifications such as ServSafe are a plus.
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing food production standards in casual dining or quick service restaurants.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is advantageous but not required.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
