What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Practice Ownership Opportunity position at Front Porch Practice Solutions?
Veterinary Practice Ownership Opportunity
Established Community Practice | Bryan/College Station Area, Texas
More than 30 years of trusted veterinary care. An opportunity to carry that legacy forward while building a practice of your own.
Have you considered veterinary practice ownership but wished you had an experienced partner to help manage the business side?
An established community veterinary practice just outside Bryan/College Station, Texas, is seeking its next veterinarian owner.
After more than 30 years of serving the community, the current veterinarian is preparing for retirement and hopes to find the right person to continue caring for her beloved clients and patients. Finding someone who values those relationships and shares her commitment to community medicine is an important part of this transition.
This is an opportunity to build on a trusted foundation while bringing your own vision, interests, and approach to veterinary medicine.
The Practice
Located in a close-knit Central Texas community, this established practice offers:
- An existing client base built on decades of trust and personal relationships
- Primarily small animal general practice
- The option to continue or expand large animal and mobile veterinary services, depending on your interests
- Significant potential for growth, expanded services, and practice development
- The opportunity to shape the medical direction, team, and culture of the practice
- A chance to become an integral part of a community that values personal relationships with its veterinarian
Your Practice. Your Medicine. Our Partnership.
This opportunity offers a different approach to veterinary practice ownership through a Management Services Organization (MSO) partnership.
The veterinarian would own and lead the clinical practice, maintaining independent authority over medical decisions, patient care, clinical protocols, and clinical leadership.
An experienced veterinary management partner would provide dedicated support through a separately structured MSO, including:
- Financial management, budgeting, and business strategy
- Human resources, staffing, and team development
- Daily operations and workflow management
- Marketing, client experience, and community engagement
- Strategic planning and long-term practice growth
The management partner is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) and Certified Professional Animal Care Operator (CPACO) with more than 15 years of veterinary management and leadership experience.
The goal is simple: Allow each partner to focus on their strengths while working together to build a successful, sustainable veterinary practice.
A Collaborative Ownership Opportunity
This opportunity is designed for a veterinarian who wants to take an active role in practice ownership without having to manage every aspect of the business alone.
The specific ownership and partnership structure will be discussed individually with interested veterinarians, with an emphasis on finding the right long-term fit.
Our priority is finding a veterinarian who shares the commitment to quality medicine, community relationships, and building a successful practice for the future.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a veterinarian who values community medicine, enjoys building lasting client relationships, and is excited about the opportunity to make a practice their own.
Whether you're an experienced veterinarian ready to take the next step or an ambitious associate exploring ownership for the first time, we'd love to hear from you.
The ideal partner will appreciate the practice's history while bringing fresh ideas, clinical interests, and a vision for its future.
