What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at Front Porch Communities and Services?

Pay Range: $20.25 - $22.50
Schedule: Friday-Tuesday (6am-2pm)
Summary:
Under the supervision of the Executive Chef or Sous Chef, an Assistant Cook is responsible for preparing food as directed by a senior Cook. Plating dishes in an attractive way, and ensuring the quality of different dishes. The assistant Cook is responsible for knowing how to use a variety of techniques to prepare whatever dish he/she is assigned to. Often the assistant cook is assigned to a single station where he/she will be responsible for preparing a single type of food by performing the following duties.
Credentials:
Essential:
* Food Handlers' certification from local health department
Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* High School diploma or GED
Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
