Life Enrichment Director

Pay Range: $86,133 - $110,000

Summary:

This position is responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the facility Life Enrichment Programs. Additionally, it is responsible for resident assessment on admission and thereafter to determine leisure needs and interests to ensure that programs are scheduled on a daily basis to meet the comprehensive needs and interests of all residents.

Detailed responsibilities:
* Life Enrichment Director

• Designs, develops and implements a creative person-centered life enrichment program based on the wellness philosophy of the organization.
• Plans and implements an innovative life enrichment calendar(s) and promotional material(s) that speaks to the core of life enrichment programming for the residents.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to develop a calendar that includes special events and themes for residents, their families, etc.
• Coordinates transportation for residents to and from events, appointments, and programs as needed by the Community.
• Maintains life enrichment budget, equipment, and supplies.
• Participates in the review of individual Residents' Service Plans and documents life enrichment progress when there is a significant change in the resident.
• Develops community resources and contacts to enhance the quality of life for residents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Attends all mandatory meetings and in-services as required by the Executive Director
• Front Porch is committed to the prevention of accidents by providing equipment with safeguards, personal safety equipment on jobs which require it, and adequate safety instructions to all employees
• All employees are required to follow safe work habits in order to prevent injuries to themselves, residents, visitors or other employees

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential:
* High School Diploma / GED
