What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part time or Full time Barista position at Front Porch Cafe?
Position Overview:
Summer or year round positions available.
As a Barista, you’ll be responsible for preparing drinks, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Whether you’re steaming milk for a perfect latte or recommending a new blend, you’ll play a key role in ensuring guests keep coming back for more!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare & Serve Beverages: Craft high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages.
- Customer Interaction: Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep workstations, equipment, and dining areas clean and stocked.
- Stock & Inventory: Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Follow Health & Safety Standards: Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with coworkers to ensure smooth operations and great service.
