What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at Front Porch and Garden?
Front Porch & Garden is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, personable Sales Representative to help us continue expanding our residential and commercial customer base. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and turning opportunities into sales.
What You’ll Do
- Generate new residential and commercial leads
- Reach out to potential customers and local businesses
- Follow up with incoming company leads and estimate requests
- Meet with prospective clients and learn what they’re looking for
- Promote Front Porch & Garden’s landscaping, lawn care, outdoor living and seasonal services
- Assist with preparing estimates and proposals
- Follow up on outstanding estimates and help close sales
- Build relationships with property managers, HOAs, businesses and homeowners
- Look for new opportunities for recurring maintenance and commercial contracts
- Keep organized records of leads, follow-ups and potential customers
- Represent Front Porch & Garden professionally in the community
Who We’re Looking For
We want someone who is outgoing, confident and motivated. You should be comfortable starting conversations, following up with people and asking for the sale.
Previous sales experience is a plus, but we’re also interested in someone with the right personality and drive who is willing to learn our services.
A strong candidate will be dependable, professional, organized, self-motivated, comfortable using a phone/text/email for customer communication, and able to work independently without needing constant supervision.
