We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and proactive Manager of People Operations who majors in recruiting and onboarding, and minors in the operational foundations that power a strong, scalable people function.
This role is a chance to shape how we attract, hire, onboard, and support talent across the company, from interns through director-level roles, while also partnering closely with the Director of People Operations to build thoughtful, efficient people processes. Recruiting, talent acquisition, onboarding, and People administration will be your primary focus, but your impact will extend across the full employee lifecycle.
You will own full-cycle recruiting, help design and execute a best-in-class onboarding experience, and contribute to the systems, documentation, and workflows that support our growing team. Key Responsibilities
Primary Focus
- Own full-cycle recruiting for roles ranging from interns to director-level positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and hiring logistics
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role needs, timelines, and success profiles, serving as a strategic thought partner throughout the hiring process
- Manage multiple high-volume active requisitions while maintaining quality, consistency, and speed
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build strong, diverse talent pipelines across departments
- Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience through clear communication, timely follow-up, and thoughtful process design
- Track and report on recruiting metrics, providing insights and recommendations to People leadership
- Lead and continuously improve the new hire onboarding experience, including creating and maintaining onboarding packets, schedules, and 30-60-90 day frameworks.
- Ensure new hires feel welcomed, informed, and set up for success from offer acceptance through their first several months
- Support day-to-day People Operations and HR administration in partnership with the Director of People Operations
- Help maintain accurate employee records related to PTO, job changes, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance needs
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve people-related processes, workflows, and tools
- Assist with employee documentation, systems upkeep, and coordination with external HR partners and vendors
- Support internal people initiatives related to engagement, culture, communication, and employee experience
- Provide general administrative and project support to the People team as the company continues to scale
- 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, people operations, or talent operations; experience in media, entertainment, news, or sports is a plus
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments
- Experience building systems and processes with a proactive mindset to build scalable solutions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Passion for recruiting, onboarding, and creating exceptional employee experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership and working independently while collaborating closely with leadership
