Sr. Construction Superintendent

Front Line Consulting LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Superintendent for projects in Malone, NY and the surrounding region. The client for these projects is the New York State Office of General Services (NYSOGS).

Services are required on various projects managed out of the Malone field office. Active and future projects include work with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS), Department of Transportation (DOT), and Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). Projects may involve new construction, renovations, and rehabilitation of state facilities, including institutional, secure, and public-sector buildings.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge, monitor and coordinate daily construction activities amongst multiple contracts.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract documents and approved construction management plans.
• Work with project teams to resolve issues that arise onsite.
• Monitor work progress to ensure work is completed in accordance with approved project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate third-party consultant services for onsite construction material testing.
• Document work progress, including all required quality control inspections and meetings.
• Assist the Engineer-in-Charge with job coordination meetings.
• Coordinate with client agency contacts on a daily basis.
• Comply with specific duties outlined in the construction procedures manual.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years of construction experience involving multiple phases of large-scale building and rehabilitation projects.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Superintendent on large-scale, multi-contract projects.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Experience working in a secure facility is a plus.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
