Office Engineer (Construction)

Front Line Trace Consulting LLC is looking for an Office Engineer to join the project management team for the Lake Sebago Beach Rehabilitation Project at Harriman Park in Pomona, NY. The client for this project is the New York State Office of General Services (OGS).

Responsibilities:

• Support the CM team in overseeing day-to-day construction activities performed by the General Contractor and subcontractors.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and change orders for compliance with contract documents.
• Assist in monitoring project schedules, look-ahead, and critical path activities.
• Participate in site walks to document progress, quality, and adherence to hospital protocols (infection control, safety, noise, and phasing).
• Track and maintain logs of design clarifications, drawing revisions, and field directives.
• Support review of pay applications, change order proposals, and cost tracking.
• Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation for State review.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and State stakeholders to facilitate timely decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) years of construction experience.
• Candidates shall possess a minimum of 4 years construction experience on projects over $5M, with experience in RFI tracking, contract document tracking etc.
• Knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, basic scheduling techniques, payment review and preparation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to self-manage are preferred skills.
• Extensive experience with Procore and construction project management software.
• Proficient skills utilizing Windows / Outlook / Microsoft / Excel / Adobe.
• Proficient with web-based submittal collaboration systems.
• OSHA 10

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
