We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and manufacturing processes, with expertise in CNC or conventional machining and using precision measuring instruments. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. As a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components that meet our stringent specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes/ or conventional lathes and mills to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Maintain tooling and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during machining processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret prints, including understanding of geometric tolerances
- Competent in the setup and operation of conventional lathes and mills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to an ever-changing workplace
