What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Warehouse Operator / Forklift position at Fromm Family Foods?
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Second Shift is from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and overtime
is determined the week prior (up to 2 hours a day working till
midnight). General Summary: There are four different areas; One is
pulling away \"from the line\" (full pallets at the end of the line) and
putting pallets into the warehouse / supplying bags and cardboard to
team too. The second area is focused on picking partial pallets and
putting them together. The third area is a \"Staging\" Operator who
gathers all products on an order, picks pallets, and puts it all
together for the stagging area. The fourth area is the person who\'s
filling tucks from empty to full. \*\*\*SO you could be doing any one of
those 4 roles. Essential Functions: Movement of high quality pet food to
and from production and packaging lines, and to warehouse storage area.
Accurately pick customer orders utilizing RF scanners. Accurately stage
orders for loading. Load trucks according to shipping schedule. Operate
assigned material handling equipment (stand-up forklift, sit-down
forklift, reach truck, etc). Accurately complete all documentation (pick
lists, bill of ladings, receiving documents). \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must-Have skills and experience needed in
a candidate: Must have driven a forklift for 2 years. Warehouse
