Now Hiring: Part-Time Store Associate
Location: From The Top, 4304 W Waco Dr, Waco, TX
From The Top is Waco’s dance, cheer, and gymnastics boutique. We fit pointe shoes, outfit local studios and school teams, and help dancers of every age find exactly what they need. Families come to us for advice as much as for product. We’re a true resource for the dance community here, not just a store.
We’re a small team that gets a lot done, so nobody here has just one job. One afternoon you might help a mom find recital tights, pack a team order, then film a quick reel for Instagram. It’s busy, it’s fun, and you’ll never be bored.
What You’ll Do:
- Help customers on the floor and get to know our regular dancers and families
- Assist with fittings and help dancers find the right shoes and gear
- Ring sales, process online orders, and get packages out the door
- Receive and tag inventory, restock, and keep the store looking great
- Create social media content for the store (we’ll show you how we do it)
- Jump into whatever’s happening that week: events, studio orders, website updates, displays
What We’re Looking For:
- A dance background. This one matters. You’ll connect with our customers because you’ve been one.
- Dependability. Our team is lean, so when you’re on the schedule, we’re counting on you. Showing up on time and owning your shifts is a must.
- A quick learner who picks things up fast and sees what needs doing
- Someone who’s happy to switch gears and say “I’ve got it”
- Warm and confident talking with kids and parents
- Comfortable on/behind the camera
Bonus if You Have:
- Retail or customer service experience
- Cheer or gymnastics experience
- A knack for content creation or visual merchandising
Schedule:
Wednesday–Friday 2–7 PM and Saturday 10 AM–3 PM. And other off-site team fittings/events as needed.
