From the Heart Support Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a high-functioning client in the East Norriton, PA area.
About the Client:
Our client is an active individual who enjoys bowling, fishing, playing tennis, swimming at the YMCA, and walking around the mall. We are looking for someone who is engaging, punctual, and enthusiastic about participating in these activities. The client has an intellectual disability and benefits from a supportive, patient, and interactive approach.
Position Details:
- Part-time position averaging 12 hours per week
- Flexible schedule (client works part-time during the week)
- Most activities occur in the community, may need to take client to therapy or doc appointments, but you stay on the clock during these times
- Driving required for outings and activities
Requirements:
- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance
- At least 1 year of caregiver or direct support experience
- Must be punctual, dependable, and interactive
- Willing to drive client to and from activities
