From The Heart Home Care is urgently hiring an experienced caregiver for an elderly client in Clinton, SC.
This is a great opportunity for someone with Alzheimer's care experience who is looking for a consistent part-time morning schedule. This case may also be paired with other available shifts in the Greenwood and surrounding areas for caregivers interested in additional hours.
Schedule
Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
➡ 9 Hours Per Week
Flexible morning start time available.
Client Needs & Requirements
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Medication reminders
- Assist with daily routines as needed
- Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia REQUIRED
- Experience with vision impairment or blindness preferred
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and reliable (attendance is critical)
- Patient, calm, and attentive caregiver
- Comfortable assisting clients with chronic pain and arthritis
- Must be comfortable working in a home where smoking occurs
- Strong communication skills
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle (REQUIRED – Uber/Lyft and ride-share services are not accepted for this position)
- MUST BE A SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT
- Ability to pass a background check
