From The Heart Home Care is urgently hiring a dependable caregiver to provide respite services for two adult clients in Simpsonville, SC.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a consistent part-time schedule while making a meaningful difference for two local families.
Schedule
Client #1
Saturday & Sunday | 9:00 AM – 1:45 PM
Client #2
Tuesday & Thursday | 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
➡ Approximately 16 hours per week
Client Needs & Requirements
- Provide respite care and companionship
- Assist with transfers and mobility support
- Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and other personal care needs
- Meal preparation and medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Transportation for appointments and errands
- Monitor client safety and provide fall prevention assistance
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience providing respite care or personal care assistance preferred
- Experience with transfers, wheelchairs, Hoyer lifts, and fall prevention preferred
- Experience working with seizure disorders is a plus
- Must be dependable and reliable (attendance is critical)
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive
- Strong communication skills
- Must be willing and able to transport clients using your personal vehicle when needed
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle (REQUIRED – Uber/Lyft and ride-share services are not accepted for this position)
- MUST BE A SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENT
- Ability to pass a background check
